Tara has hosted a variety of talks and events. Notably, she hosted a panel on tech and the music industry at the 2021 Web Summit in Lisbon, led an evening with Arlo Parks for Guardian Live, hosted the keynote at the 2021 AIM Connected conference, and was in conversation with Big Narstie and CJ Wallace at the 2022 Cannabis Europa conference. She also headed up various gal-dem events such as talks on DIY artistry, Brown British womanhood in cinema and a Boiler Room Instagram Live. Through gal-dem, she hosted journalism workshops in Sheffield and London.

She has appeared on various panels, including at Beaches Brew festival in Italy, as well as for SoundCloud, DICE.fm, Livity and more.
